Day 30: Google training and self-grading quizzes


I had the chance this morning to help a 6th grade science class who has a pilot set of iPads in the classroom get set up with school Google accounts. It was a LOT of fun teaching 6th grade students!

Also, I used Kelly O’shea’s method of giving a quiz and then having students give themselves feedback immediately after. Though it was not graded (only the big exams count per U of MN policy), the students really liked it. Here’s a pic of the green solutions in the back of the room, waiting for student comparisons.
